Stream and Stone is a lifestyle and opinion blog based around storytelling on social equality and the everyday musings of motherhood.
This blog was created as a sort of letter to the person I was and the circumstances I had found myself in a few years ago. I wanted to create a space for people (like my former self) with questions about feminism, what feminism looks like, what feminism does and does not represent, to learn through my experiences why I came to understand its importance. A space where people can feel comfortable to ask those questions but also a space where change is being asked of them.
I wanted to write from the perspective of someone who doesn’t stereotype like a feminist to help people relate and better understand that there is no one way to support equality. I write about social equality on many different scales but I also write about motherhood because well, we need some laughs and motherhood in my case, is the comedic autobiography of my life.
My goal here is community. I love the conversation surrounding social justice. It’s my bread and butter. So I would truly love to connect over email exchanges or through other means.
If this feels like a place where you want to hang out then please, go ahead, make my day. Subscribe so I can get to know you better.
